* According to the attention schedule of the Agents in Mexico. If requested, Telecomm Telegrafos will deliver a written notification to the recipient within 1 to 2 days of the date the money was sent. The written notification informs the recipient that they have funds available to be picked up at a specific Telecomm Telegrafos location.




Restrictions and Special Notes


Sending from Mexico:


Sender must present valid identification on all transactions.

Maximum send amount is $7,499 US dollars in local currency equivalent per person, per transaction, per day.

Money transfers to Mexico must include the city and state of payout.

Agents offering outbound service: Telecom, Banamex, American Express Travel Service Office, Elektra, Bodega de Remates, (BDR) and Banco Azteca (BAZ) locations.

Quick Pay Outbound Service is provided at Elektra, Banco Azteca and Salinas & Rocha branded locations only. Quick Pay senders must call 01 800 002 10 21 to verify Quick Pay location information. Elektra, Banco Azteca and Salinas y Rocha: Locations open 365 days a year from 9 AM to 9 PM Banco Azteca Locations (BAZ) open from 9hrs until 19 hrs on Saturdays, Sundays closed. All payments are made in cash, only in local currency equivalent (Mexican pesos).



Receiving in Mexico:


Receivers must present valid identification.

Mexico will not payout money on proof of lost ID.

Maximum principal payout amount is $7,499 US dollars in local currency equivalent per person, per transaction, per day but depends on the agent, since the cash payout varies. Receivers must present identification.

At Elektra, Banco Azteca and Salinas y Rocha all payments are made in cash, only in local currency equivalent (Mexican pesos).

Maximum principal payout amount at Banamex locations (that are not Banamex branches) is $1,000 US dollars or local equivalent per transaction. All transactions are paid in cash.

Maximum principal Cash payout amount is $2,499 US dollars or local equivalent per transaction at Bital/HSBC. Receiver can collect the money in cash or it can be deposited into a bank account if the receiver already holds a HSBC account.



General Information:


During holidays, Banamex bank locations will be closed; however, Comercial Mexicana locations will be available for payouts.

Test question is not available.

Money Transfers to Mexico must include the City and State of payout.
